A Road For Haiti

Inauguration of the Road in 2016

In the fall of 2012, we visited a dispersed and weakened population in the mountains of the Massif of the Central Plateau. The only way to get there was by excursions that take hours, carrying the goods on the head and using mules and donkeys. People lived there without running water, without electricity, without access to the road system, and as a result, without access to health care and education.

It is in response to these needs PEER Servants Canada launched the project “A road for Haiti”, in partnership with Église Évangélique Source de Vie, and Le Chemin.

In February 2016, the project was completed and we proceeded to the inauguration of the 13 km road.
